The Solar Heat - Anthem Battle of the Bands winner Spring 2009 The Solar Heat is a band of brothers from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. C.J., the eldest Solar brother (now 16), has an edgy yet rich and soulful voice well beyond his years. It has been said that "there is nothing like sibling harmony"; and when younger brother, Cody, is not lending his vocals to harmony, he shares time as a lead vocalist and has been frequently called "Little John Fogerty" in music reviews because of his rough, deep voice and the passion and fire he sings with. Cody's twin, Mack, (both 14 now) is the quiet one, except when rockin' out on the drums. The band has been playing locally for the past 6 years. The band has become seasoned performers since they started playing publicly at such a young age. They have played for numerous charity events for the United Way, American Cancer Society, and American Heart Association. |
